DIY Gradient nails



 Gradient & Stripes Nails Tutorial

What I used:
1. Contrasting polish color from bottom color
2. Top coat
3. Gradient nails
4. Scotch Brand Tape ( I use the invisible kind, I believe it works the best! :)
5. Scissors


Colors I used:

Gradient:
Coral Island - Sinful Colors
Happy Go Lucky - China Glaze
I Need A Refresh-Mint - Wet n Wild
Snow Me White - Sinful Colors
Top coat - Seche Vite

Stripes:
Black on Black - Sinful colors
Top coat - Seche Vite

How I did it:

Step 1: Gradient your nails or paint then with different colors or a solid color, whatever you wanna do... So then let the bottom polish dry completely. (If you do not know how to gradient your nails, here is a tutorial. DIY Gradient nails (1st time) )

 Step 2: With your scissors, cut little strips of scotch brand tape. I use the invisible kind, I believe it works the best. :) (The reason why I say "Scotch brand" tape is because I think it is the best kind of tape for details & I've used other tapes & the polish always seeps under the tape.) TIP: Make sure you cut all of your tape strips & apply them before you begin to paint your nails. I did mine one at a time & it was difficult trying not to mess up my already done nails. 

 Step 3: Paint your nails with your top color. I always try to choose a color that will contrast with my bottom color(s). I think it makes your nails POP! ;) TIP: You should paint one nail at a time & then pull the tape off ASAP. This will ensure that you make the cleanest lines.

Step 4: Apply your top coat & Enjoy!!!
